Ownership rights

All custom work created becomes client property upon full payment
We retain the right to showcase work in our portfolio
Third-party licenses remain with their respective owners
Open source components are subject to their individual licenses

Prohibited Uses

Usage restrictions

Using our services for illegal or unauthorized purposes
Attempting to breach or test our security systems
Copying or redistributing our proprietary content
Misrepresenting your identity or affiliation

Limitation of Liability

Legal boundaries

Services are provided "as is" without warranties
We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services
Claims relating to our services must be raised in writing within 30 days of the relevant event, to the fullest extent permitted by law
Force majeure events exempt us from liability

Termination

Contract ending

Either party may terminate with 30 days written notice
Immediate termination for breach of terms
Upon termination, all payments become due
Confidentiality obligations survive termination

Governing Law & Disputes

Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden
We aim to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation first
Disputes that cannot be resolved shall be settled by Örebro tingsrätt (Örebro District Court) as the court of first instance

Bromander Labs — Free Tools

The client-services terms above cover paid engagements. The Bromander Labs tools are different: they are free, require no account or contract, and are offered on the following basis.

  • Provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • Their outputs are estimates for informational purposes only and may be inaccurate or incomplete.
  • You use them at your own risk; we are not liable for decisions made based on their outputs.
  • They run in your browser — your inputs are not sent to us, logged, or stored.
  • We may change, limit, or discontinue any Labs tool at any time without notice.

EU Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer under EU/Swedish law, you have specific rights that cannot be waived. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)

For distance contracts, you have the right to cancel within 14 days without giving reasons.

  • How to withdraw: send clear notice to legal@bromanderglobal.com
  • Deadline: 14 days from contract conclusion or service commencement
  • Effects: we will reimburse payments within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal

Pre-Contractual Information Rights

Before entering any contract, you have the right to receive:

  • Main characteristics of the services
  • Total price including taxes and fees
  • Duration and termination conditions
  • Complaint handling and dispute resolution information

Unfair Terms Protection

Any terms that create a significant imbalance to your disadvantage may be deemed unfair under EU Directive 93/13/EEC and the Swedish Consumer Contracts Act. Such terms are not binding on you.
